The free Fredonia Homecoming Festival in Fredonia, Kansas began in 1923 and the annual event welcomes back former residents of Fredonia from around the world. 2017 was the 50th anniversary Fredonia Homecoming Grand Parade and the parade included floats with Fredonia High School alumni from many of the classes for whom the year is a multiple of their 5th anniversary.
