Beloit Falls - Beloit, Kansas Beloit Falls is on the Solomon River above Highway 14 near downtown Beloit, Kansas. The falls is on the edge of Chautauqua Park, a nice little municipal park wedged in a horseshoe formed by the Solomon River. Chautauqua Park has tennis courts, a pool with a 125 foot water slide and disc golf course. The day that these photos were taken, I had to dodge groups of frisbee golfers who were having a tournament. There was so a lot of water coming over the dam this day, but I bet it is more beautiful when there is less flow. There is a pedestrian bridge used by the disc golf course that crosses the Solomon River a little above the falls.
