Elm Springs Waterfall - Marion County, Kansas We didn't actually see the springs during our visit to Elm Springs and Waterfall during a tour of Marion County, but were led by a steep trail to a place where the creek fed by the springs has a 30' fall, in a spot reminiscent of Alcove Spring near Blue Springs, Kansas. The spot is overgrown and heavily shaded. The most interesting thing was the many snakes in the pool of water at the base of the falls. Local legend is that cowboys would use the falls to take a shower. To reach the Elm Springs Waterfall, park at the corner of 360th Street and Bison Road and enter the gate and it is a short walk northwest of this intersection. The spring is directly north with the falls several hundred feet later. One person said they had been told that part of a movie was filmed here a very long time ago. Please be respectful of the property. The Christiansen family owns the falls
